Regarding this article this should work, but I can not get it to work. Anyone that have tips?
sure, settings > storage > internal storage > check what's using it, you might want to clear the cache of streaming apps, and other apps such as chrome, facebook, spotify, etc, also, you should avoid using the FB app and instead use chrome.
Another suggestion, if you use whatsapp, every week do the following
File Commander > internal storage > Whatsapp > copy > SD card > paste > wait wait wait wait > then
File commander > internal storage > whatsapp > media > images and video > delete everything
once this is done, next week > file commander > internal storage > whatsapp > media > images > copy paste to the same folder on the SD card > then delete the files on the internal storage.
I'm really pissed now after i did the update. Not only the storage is a joke, but my phone is not able to do calls or send sms anymore. not to speak of mobile internet, which isn't working as well. i tried three different SIM cards, with the same result. Repair function via xperia companion did not help at all. This was my last Sony phone as well. i feel betrayed...
@uliwooly
Funny. My primary SIM card is brand new and it works flawless in the xperia m4 aqua of my dad (Still working with Lollipop), and also in my old huawei smartphone. My second SIM card works as well in every phone except my M4 Aqua. The Problem is NOT SIM related, but occured right after the Update. Marshmallow is full of bugs, that's all to it.
Seems to be the driver of the receiver or something like that. after each restart everything works fine for about 30 seconds, then the receiver seems to freeze.
I sent it away to Sony today. Their update broke it, they have to fix it. I won't pay a single cent.
P.s. How do i do the "@uliwooly" as link like you did?
The one feature which could have saved the m4 Aqua isnt availible.....back to samsung and away from the crap sony products for me
