Stooping night time updates on RDR-HXD870

We have our RDR-HXD870 in our bedroom now but my wife keeps getting woken by the automatic updates that happen during the night, usually about 3am. I have turned the 'auto update' feature off but this only seems to stop the software updates and (I think) these are the programme guide updates. Does anyone know if there is a way to turn these off or schedule them for a more sociable time (like when we are at work)?

Hi,

Have you tried switching from the GuidePlus+ system to using the standard EPG?  I think that's in the Guide->Home->EPG Select->Guide(Digital).

I wish I had yours as mine does not get any guide + (analogue updates anymore) and digi reception is crap in Belfast.

perhaps someone can give me a postcode in Belfast that IS getting analogue Guide + updates. TNX

A pity they dropped Video + coding on the newer models.
