I recently started noticing that my s570 seems to struggle with decoding high contrast moving images. I seem to get big macro blocks. I tried some of the discs on my pc and they played perfectly, so I guess it's the Sony player. I'm connected to a Panasonic plasma via hdmi running at 24p. Has anyone else seen this? I seem to have started noticing it after the last firmware update, but I can't say for sure if it was there before that or not. It does turn up on lots of my discs though 😕
