since having to retune the recorder for the digital signal in the London area the recorder loses the BBC chanels and has to be retuned to enable you to record any thing. some time all channels are lost ?help please is there a software upgrade to cure this ?

I'm guessing you never solved this. I am now having the same problems with the BBC channels being erased every time the box is switched off. I am on v1.70 firmware.
