I have just purchased a Sony BDP-S370 Blu-ray Player and connected it to my Sony 32" LCD TV with a HDMI cable. The cable is connected to the HDMI 1 Port on the TV. When I turn the DVD player on the TV automatically attempts to transfer to a HDMI Port. However, it switches to HDMI 2 - this is currently empty and not used by any other equipment. When I connect the HDMI cable to Port 2 and then switch the player on, the TV attempts to connect to Port 1!
Does anyone know how to resolve this problem? I know I can simply select the correct port using the remote but it would be nice to take advantage of the automatic switching feature if possible.
