DVD connection to Sony Bravia KDL-46NX713

Can anyone help, I am trying to connect a DVD player which has only scart sockets to my

Sony Bravia KDL-46NX713 TV, I am unable to advise on the make of DVD player

Hi,

why cant you advise the make of player?, there will be a serial number and model number on it somewhere even if theres no badge!, you should be able to connect your scart to both devices and select the input by repeatedly pressing the input button on the top left corner of the remote.

I think that on the KDL-46NX713 you need to use a scart adapter that is provided by Sony.

Hi, the only thing i can tell you about DVD player its a SCAN model

i got no model number nothing else to go on but problem i got the tv

does not have scart connectors just HDMI sockets, im quessing that an

adapter is available but what type, ive got no instruction book for dvd

player so am stuck with how to connect. thanks

Ah,

well in the box when you bought the tv there would have been a bag of adaptors!, i had them with the HX923, and it would have had the adaptor (scart to phono leads) in there. if you no longer have this you would need to contact support for one if you can.
