Just doing the same thing myself... It seems that you can get sound via Hdmi if your TV offers audio return (?) via hdmi, but this will only Give stereo. However, if you want 5.1 you'll need to go down the optical route. But in order to do this you need to turn off HDMI control which means that the funky auto-control using your TV remote no longer works... Well that's as far as I've got anyway. Also I'm getting random sound sync with SkyHD when using hdmi sound into the HSAT5. Ohh, meant to say also I've had to have the Sky HDMI cable straight into the TV rather than vi the HT system.. As my TV ( Sony NX713) wouldn't return back to the Sky input from my BD player. HTH some!! If you find a neater solution let me know!
