Hi, purchased a Bravia KD-55XF8796 a couple of weeks ago and got a sound bar (Sony HT-SF150) sound bar at Christmas and have spent the last two days trying to connect them - I’ve tried using an HDMI cable in the ARC port, tried using the audio cable and even tried using them both at the same time - the best I’ve had is a faint sound with the audio cable. The Tv acknowledges the sound bar but there’s nothing... please help!

Hello @paul1stadd,
did you ensure, that your HDMI-cable supports ARC?
If it does not, it won't work if you connect the TV and the soundbar together.

Hello @paul1stadd,
did you try to adjust the settings on your TV to change the audio-signal-format it sends to the soundbar.
Maybe the default setting is not suited for your soundbar.
