So ear buds damaged need new ones contacted support they asked me Size and Colour witch I gave they come back and say contact Supplier as they are under Guarantee is it Not Sony position to do this this is not petty they cost me 100s of pounds

Yea it sucks but you will either buy them using the part number Sony gave you, or contact Amazon and ask them to send you ones, or cover the cost I guess.

Did you damage the earbuds or are they faulty?
Have you contacted the Supplier yet? Customers normally return
items to where they purchased them from for an exchange.

When you say 'think that is Sony's department' do you mean you purchased them from Sony
or you think they should contact the shop / website you got them from on your behalf?
If its the latter then this is not the case.
