Sony xperia E4G problem with multitouch

Hi. I have Xperia E4G (E2003). I have some multitouch issues here. I noticed that when I wanted to play Modern Combat 5 game. I have downloaded multitouch tester and when I use 2 (or more) fingers sometimes one of the touch input start to flash (while I'm moving it) or totally vanishes. It also happens at system using. I took a screenshot. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8VvjG01sksqUUFiaGFDbnZ0S1k/view?pli=1 I cannot normaly use my phone... Is this software or hardware problem? This guy has similar problem http://androidforums.com/threads/multi-touch-problem.918557/

How would we report this to Sony?

I first thought this must be my device alone, but after having returned to store and found the replacement with identical issue, and then seeing others having the same issue, this is surely software.

Note that xperia range, this multi touch problem is not new, and has been software related in the past.

Sorry to hear that you have issues with the touchscreen.

Do you have an accessory connected when this happens or is the phone placed in a cover?

P.S.

I've just tested how the screen react for charger. And when I connected the charger there was no difference for about minute. And after 2 minutes it looked like the problem started to occur more rarely. I tested the screen for about 5 minutes, touch input got less precise, but didn't flash (in multitouch tester app). And after that I turned the screen off for about one minute and when I tourned it on again the multitouch issue got back. Just like before connecting charger. Do you think, that it could be battery/voltage problem? Could it be caused by software?

Sorry for my English again... 😕

There is no accessory connected and nothing is obstructing the screen like a case. This is my second e4g with identical touchscreen problem, in exactly the same part of the screen. It is a very clear that this is a software issue. If it was hardware, I would expect that the part of the touchscreen that has trouble with multi -touch, would be consistent, however, it comes and goes much like a bug would.

As Nensher says, it is at the bottom half of the screen for me on both e4g devices that I have had.

And do you also have a feeling, that swiping gestures are a bit scratchy in compare to other phones? You know... It looks like touch point is rather "jumping" than moving constantly and smooth.

@Nensher

Yes it is jumpy. I also had to switch to google keyboard because the default was almost unusable, keys where being missed. So it seems there is problems also with simple touch.

My mother has the Xperia e4, which has no such problems. I expected the cheaper one would be worse than the e4g, but no, perfectly detects all 4 fingers consistently.

Its very gutting because I got this device for the great GPU for a low price. And indeed, it plays games far better than my galaxy s3. Just that any games that require moving with one side of screen and turning with the other, is just about impossible Slightly_frowning_Face

@codroid

Yeah, I bought this phone for it's great computing power (for playing games ofc :3) too. And this is probably first phone in this price that can play Modern Combat 5 on multiplayer at about 30 fps or more... But it's useless untill we'll get working multitouch... 😕 I'm really disapointed for this moment...
