I bought 2 of these Xperia E phones and one I used, I purchased it as my X8 wouldnt play music properely and the radio was messed up, the E had a malfunctioning radio from day 1 and issues with music playback and then the phone call speaker stopped working after a few weeks.
I since bought an Octa core 2 GB RAM 16GB ROM 5.1" 1080P phone from an Asian seller at the same price as the E costs and have had no issues, showing how abysmal sonys quality is.
The second phone which I gave to a family member is also an E and after a few weeks failed to turn on has a red blinking light when plugged in or power button pressed.
It will not repair or well...do anything really.
Could anyone advise me on a possible fix or how i can return this phone directly to sony?

The warranty depends on country - This could be anything up to 2 years - As for proof you normally need a receipt or some countries will accept a bank or credit card statement
If you have tried a repair and tried leaving the phone on charge for around 2 hours then if still in warranty contact Xperia care in your country http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/support/contact-us/
Thank you for the reply, can I ask how long the warrenty should be and also what I need as im not sure where the receipt is, would a serial number suffice?
