Cannot add widgets.

When I go to 'add > widget' it pop ups: 'Unfortunately, widgets has stopped.'
I have Xperia E (C1505).

What if you restart your phone ? 

Do you have a taskiller or task manager or antivirus?

Restarting don't help.

I have avast! Mobile Security antivirus.

uninstall it > restart your phone > check again

I uninstalled avast! and widgets works now properly.

Just wanted to say that I had the same problem and for what I read on other blogs I thought it was Google Maps update, but your solution was the one that made the trick! Thank you so much!
