USB Cable or no USB Cable???

I have just purchased from a Sony retailer an un-boxed, X display Cyber Shot DSC-W630. With it being re-boxed and placed in a bag for me. I didn't find out until I got it home, that the USB cable was missing. I have been in touch with the store, via E-mail. But got no reply. So my question is.... Should you get a USB cable with the camera or not? If not... Why not??? As every camera I have ever purchased comes with a USB cable.
