What to do if yours smartphone became slow:
1. Simple to restart yours smartphone (you can do that several times). Restart of smartphone will close all apps which you used, but maybe did not closed. Will clean all caches and garbage files and ect.

3. If don't helping any of these things, you can check maybe yours smartphone got virus. To check is virus in yours smartphone, you can with one of popular antivirus like Kaspersky, AVG which actually in some model came with free version for 180 days with pro features, and ect.
4. If virus you did not got, cleaner and smartphone restart did not help, you can try simple to repair yours smartphone with Xperia Companion. Which will re-install later software version in yours smartphone. By the way repair process will erase all yours smartphone files, so do first back up of yours important files.
5. If will not helps all 4 first steps, bring your smartphone to mobile authorized service in yours location about which information for you can say Sony Mobile Local Support Service.
