Battry problem

My phone battery problem is going

How is it started? Because i have same problem. Some day my phone dead when the battery still 60% and getting worst. Now my phone dead when the battery 98% so i must charge it all day long 24/7. And Sony customer service said they don't sell sparepart as accesorices so i can't find original battery for my phone. Maybe i will try go to Sony Service Center...

Would it be possible for you to elaborate a bit on the behaviour that you are experiencing, is the battery not lasting as long as before, is the device shutting down even though you still have a high battery percentage in the device?

The more information you can provide, the better troubleshooting I can suggest.

We do not sell spare parts that is correct, but we have authorized service centres that will perform repairs on Xperia devices and they are of course using original spare parts.

For assistance with having your device handed in for repairs, or for the address to a service centre near you, get in touch with your Local support team and they will assist you further.

@Jonas it happen when i'm using my phone, it was just like ordinary day.... Then my phone dead and after i turn it on, the battery is stil around 30% and i thought maybe i'm use too many apps so it consume the battery fast. Then a few days later my bettery is 60% and it's dead. I turn it on it again but it dead again when the battery around 30%

And maybe a week later i just charged my phone (100%) but it dead when the battery still 98% and when i turn it on, it said my battery is 5% so i try charge it again and surprisingly my battery became 72%

And that keep happening until now, so i charge my phone 24/7 😭 (do my phone will get worst if i charge it all the time?)

I try ask my cousin about this problem, since she had the same problem but different phone (she used Iphone 6). And she said it's the battery problem, so it must be replace.

And i've already search for Sony Service in 'smartphone mall' in my city, but no luck. I spend 4 hours search for Sony Service Center but it seem it already close. And i heard (from Sony cs) in my city only remain 1 Sony Service Center left. And that quite far from my home (and i don't have time yet to check it)

I have to agree with your cousin, it does sound like it's the actual battery that is causing since it started to get worse and worse over time.

Since I work globally, I don't know the exact location of all service centres in all markets, however your Local support team should be able to point you in the right decision and assist you with having it sent there, if you aren't able to visit it yourself, due to the distance to the service centre.
