KD-55XH9005 - Subtitles defaulting to On

Hi,

Recently purchased a KD-55XH9005 and overall please with the TV, however there is 1 annoying issue that if i can resolve will result in me returning the TV.

The issue is the Subtitles always defaulting to on for 1 channel only, the setting is turned off and is fine with all other channels.

The 1 channel causing an issue is BBC One HD on Freesat, anybody have any ideas as to how turn this off?

I have a similar issue with subtitles being activated in the YouTube and Netflix apps. 

Sometimes starts straight off but also activates at random times.

Yours  is  not really a similar issue, all  previous posts in this over  3 year old thread has to do with Freesat.

Yours seems  to be with streaming services.

Try starting a new question rather than tagging onto old posts, you are probably more likely to get 

a response.

When composing your question include information such as the exact model of Sony TV you have

and the version of software it is running.

If it is question about subtitles on streaming services what are the settings you have applied to the 

Streaming and other content subtitles options. under,

Settings> System> Subtitle settings> Streaming and other content.

Do the apps in question have separate subtitle options?
