KD-55XG7003 can't register USB HDD - Help?

Can anybody help me to register a HDD onto this TV?

I have tried a couple of USB drives in socket 3 but nothing seems to work,

I am told now that it needs to be a Sony drive but I can't get one of those either.

I would of thought that any new drive would just need to be formatted correctly.

Help?

Thanks, I have managed to get it all working.

I didn't have to format the USB drive as it worked on both NTFS & EXFAT, the issue I had was the FAT32 formated sector was only 31.8GB and Sony needs more than 32GB.
