IViewHD IPTV

So my sony is supposed to be an Android TV but I cant get it to accept IviewHD app. Apparently it should work but all I get is "file cant be opened"  Just wondering if anyone uses IView and if so how did you get it installed. I want to save the cost of buying a standalone android box

No. Not zipped. It’s called a .apk file. Since I posted I found out that I can get it to work. Just worried now though that it may somehow affect the tv. Although it seems to run fine. I may buy a separate Android box any. Thanks for the reply
