I cannot turn off the closed captioning on my new sony bravia kd55xe8396bu

hi I can turn it off but when i change channel it reappears. How can I permanently turn the CC of does any one know?

Hi,

Can you please have a look in the Channel Setup > Digital Setup menu. You should be able to turn closed captioning off there. Let me know how you get on.
