How do see amazon video on sony bravia kd-43xe83960 after factory reset
I had to factory reset my Sony bravia after it received a software update which caused a problem with router Wi-Fi settings. This has caused a problem with Amazon video which was operating fine till factory reset. I can sign into amazon video with code given on the screen and sign into my amazon account as normal and see my android t. v is a registered device, but when I access it through amazon prime app it keeps asking me to start your 7 day free trial? It doesn't seem to recognise that I already signed up.

Hi doyler23,
I'll see if I can find this out for you. Maybe someone else in the community can help in the meantime though.
Thanks,
Pascale

Any headway towards a solution?, as no one on the forum seems to have a solution.
Thanks

Maybe because any other person Prime video app is working faultlessly.... Never had any issue on that (apart some stuttering in the earlier versions)

Try restarting both the TV and the router and then try opening the app, this may seem like a simple idea, but sometimes information is saved up on your router or TV which can cause an issue with connecting altogether. You can also clear the cached data on the TV through the Internal Storage menu.

Have you contacted Amazon and explained the issue or start the 7 day trial and log in after that

I havn't contacted amazon because it was part of a deal when i signed up for broadband that amazon video was free for 12 monthes and amazon prime say on there website to contact the broadband provider directly if a problem is encountered, if you havn't signed up directly with amazon. The broadband provider has very bad customer service.
I havn't tried yet signing up for 7 day trial because my details are probaly already on there system.

if it was me I would sign up for the 7 days most likely as soon as you put your details in ...it should recognise you already have an account
