Sony GP-X1EM with A6600??

Hello, has anyone tried to use the GP-X1EM grip with the A6600? same battery and what looks like the same grip size?

Any thoughts?

I have answered my question with buying the GP-X1EM grip and trying it on my A6600 camera.

The grip does not fit correctly although you can use it as I have done for a few days.

I was surprised to find that the grip is too small to match up with the 6600 even though you would expect the matching A7iii to be larger? interesting that there is such a difference in camera using the same battery?
