Sony a7r3 always saves to wrong card

I have gone into menu option Shoot Mode/Drive1/Select Media (option 3) and set the 'Select Media' to Slot 1. If both slots have a card in the images are always saved to Slot 2. The only way to get them to save to Slot 1 is to remove the card from Slot 2. Until recently the camera worked correctly and saved to Slot 1. I do not know how to get it to save to the correct slot. Can anyone help?

I have just spotted in the manual that the Setup6 menu, Rec Media Settings option allows the slot priority to be chosen, and this has not altered since I bought the camera, it is set to prioritize Slot 1, Recording Mode Standard, Auto Switch Media On, which is what I want but the camera will not save to Slot 1 if thre is a card in Slot 2.

This might be just a power glitch of sorts, try taking out both cards and the battery, and leave the camera powered Off without them for a few minutes, then try again.

Joe_Dohn, sorry, I have only just spotted your post. Many thanks for the suggestion. I am glad to say that I did manage to sort the problem out.
