A99 II - Sensor Dust Spots - Cleaning

Very disappointing that the sensor dust spots are so numerous and obvious.

At the moment the camera is effectively unusable because of this.

The recommended cleaning routine has had no effect at all despite the new coating & cleaning function ( shaking the sensor ) that allegedgely helps with this issue.

There is no mention of " wet " cleaning with fluid on a swab, just to contact the service centre if the dust spots persist.

Is wet cleaning of the A99 II   sensor OK with no resulting damage or is the service centre the only option  ?

I did try the suggestions but it did not resolve the issue.

I took the camera back to the shop and had the sensor professioanlly cleaned, for a fee, and the sensor now appears to be OK.

One buys a new camera and in effect straight out of the box you have to pay to get the sensor cleaned  😞
