A9 + Sony 200/600mm lens

When using the small focus area, the focus judders in & out. Anybody else with the same problem?

Are both the camera and lens up to date?

Certainly are- I have just checked the focussing spot with my 100/400mm lens
and that's OK

Which teleconverter are you using with the 200600G?

According to the compatibilities page, it seems that only 1 converter is fully compatible.

No teleconverter. The lens only 'hunts' for focus when it is in flexible
spot (small) and the expand flexible spot.

The firmware version is .01. I am unable to get any information from the
Sony download page as to whether it is the correct version- it just gives me
'Access denied'.

I believe SEL200600G is the model number, if I'm correct, then you're on the latest software version since there are no downloads on the support page.

Sorry, can't do that. I haven't got an account with you, tube and I have
never posted anything to it- in actual fact I haven't got a clue how to do
