A7ii as webcam battery options

Hi everyone. I have an A7ii and have purchased a CAMLINK 4K to use it as a webcam. The image is awesome, and I'm wondering how to provide it with constant power whilst using it as a webcam.

If I plug in the power in the usual way to charge the battery, at the same time as the micro HDMI for video capture, it doesn't seem to work.

I'm wondering if I have some settings wrong or if there is an externally powered battery available for the A7ii. It doesn't have the USB connection that some of the other models have.

I think what you are looking for is a so called "dummy battery".

Hey, there's no setting on the camera itself for this. You might want to check what the other users suggested.
