Xperia 10 freezing at deleting cache

Hello everyone,

I have the following problem with my phone:

For a few days, Chrome sometimes freezes for a few seconds and then the message "Chrome has stopped responding" appears. After a short wait, the phone responds normally.

As I tried to clear the Chrome cached data through the Apps settings, the phone crashed and reboot, even showing a white triangle with wrench. Now, the phone seems to be working normally again.

What is the problem with clearing the cache? Since I have got this phone I try to avoid clearing the Chrome Cache, Since it generally tends to crash the phone easily.

Thanks for your responses 🙂

I had something like you suffered from.

Chrome completely unresponsive.

After an update of Chrome in the PlayStore it's over.

If you want to clear things up a normal reboot will do.

If you want to clear cache as well then force stop the device.

To force the device to restart or shut down
  1. Press and hold down the power key Power on/off icon and the volume up key at the same time for 6 seconds.
  2. Your device vibrates once. Depending on whether you wish to force the device to restart or shut down, proceed as follows.
    • If you wish to force restart the device: Release the keys at this point. The device restarts.
    • If you wish to force shut down the device: Continue pressing the keys. After a few more seconds, the device vibrates three times and turns off.
