Have an old Sony Vaio laptop my daughter is using for school during lockdown, had it recently updated to Windows 10 to cope with running Microsoft Teams etc and now the inbuilt webcam doesn't work, (it did before) nor does an external webcam work (again it did before as she has her laptop linked to a larger monitor (i have tried my Logitech C270 and its just black). Total nightmare as she needs it for her school video calls. Please any help would be greatly apprecaited. I am a total novice so may need to spell it out for me. It has had an error code 0xA00F42A0<SceneSwitchFailed> (0x80004003) if that helps !

Did you manage to solve it using the video or is it still not working for you?
Hi thanks for the message, I did try something that I found on a different message board which was to delete all photos stored in the laptop (luckily only homework) and I did that and then turned it off and on again 😂 and the camera started working again miraculously, although the laptop still won’t accept the logitech external camera, not sure why, but since the internal camera has now started working I don’t want to upset the laptop by trying something else but if it happens again I’ll definitely try what’s in the video, and thank you for your responses 😍
