Problem with ATI Rage Mobility-M1 PCI (Deutsch)

Hello,
I have a problem. I installed Windows 2000 Pr. on my old Sony Vaio Notbook PCG-C1VFK. Then I downloaded a Driver from Vaio-link and installed it. Then when I restarted the complet display was filed out. When I restarted again on the right and on the left are 4 zentimetres wide black touches. How can I get the complet display again?
Please help m.

You will have to run the program and extract into a known folder. You will then have to run the setup.exe file - this should extract the driver files to a temporary folder at some point during the installation. You will have to locate the folder that the files are extracted to before fully completing the driver setup program.

Copy the files from the temporary folder into a known folder and then allow the setup program to finish. You can then use device manager to update the drivers but select the known folder as the driver location.

The above should work but I can't guarantee the result or the method as I don't have access to that particular computer. You may need to modify the instructions a little to achieve the desired result.
