Infinity reboot

I formatted my Xperia Z2 last time I used it and use it as a secondary phone.

Now when I try turning it on though, it boots and say Sony and then android, then the blue screen with two white waves comes up loading and lagging somewhat. Then a short while later it reboots to the Sony screen again. And so it goes forever.

I've already searched on this and I do have the latest Xperia Companion software installed on my Windows 7 computer. I tried plug it in, and somehow it does recognize the phone as it tells me to unlock the phone to continue, which I obviously can't.

I've also tried push down the volume down button during the whole time, with the phone connected to the computer via a USB micro cable, I tried several different USB micro cables as well to be sure. And my computer normally works great so no issues with that either.

Also tried push volume down when not connected.

Nothing makes any difference.

And the phone doesn't have any SD or SIM card in it, I been also trying put in an SIM card into it to see if any difference but it's not.

My current plan is to just let it reboot forever until it runs out of battery, then let it stay for some hours and then charge it just a little and see if it boots or not.

Is there any other solution to try? Is there a way to bypass the requirement to unlock the phone?
I been searching online and I seen people be able to repair the phone without having it unlocked? or is it just if the phone never had any passcode? though weird thing is previous time I used it, I chose to format it and quite sure it did get formatted.
