How can I change the background color of text messages on the Sony Xperia Z Ultra?

The background color when I send text messages is its default color of blue (the text being white), but I want to change the background color from blue. How can I do that? Thanks in advance.

Hi @FirstLast1234, welcome to our forum!

There is no setting in the default messaging application where you can change the background, so you will need to download a different text messaging application from the Google Play store that either has a different background colour, or has the option where you can choose which colour you want.

Just search for "messaging app" and there should be plenty of option to choose from.

That depends on the texting app you're using. Some may allow that to be done, some won't. You don't say what texting app you're using, without that info members here can't be of much help.
