front facing camera problem

My camera works fine but when I go to take a photo with my front facing camera the screen stays black and it wont load anything.


I've master reset my phone and I have force quit the camera app in settings as well. After I master reset my phone it worked once and hasn't since. Real big bummer.

I'm use Xperia C5, rear camera work fine but front switching is missing and happen after updating software. I did diagnosed, result showed front camera not available. Why this happen? What should I do?

My Sony Experia C5 front camera stopped working after softer upgrade.

Selfie button disappeared, there is no way to take a pictures in Selfie mode.

Hi! I'm also having problem with the front cam of my Sony Xperia Z Ultra. Done with the software repair but still not working.

I tried punching the test codes (Service test) and i tried the camera (back camera) its really working but the secondary camera (front cam) it states that "this device tdoes not support this function". the last time i use the front cam was the 20th of this month and i'm inside an establishment and not in contact with any liquids.
i also experience "headset is not supported" even though there is no headphone being plug while the message pops quite often.

i hope you could help us with this or does your distributors knows what to do with this problems?

Why is this issue marked as solved as it clearly isn't? I can't belive sony's ignorance regarding this issue as I can see many of us are facing this front camera problem... I tried everything suggested before (deleting camera cache, factory reset, sony companion software repair) but nada... It's so frustrating that a huge issue like this is not addressed properly, I loved my xperia z3 compact but I'm fed up now with its issues. This is a great way to turn loyal customers to annoyed one's.

Anyone could manage to solve it somehow?

Two days ago i bought the xperia m4 aqua and the front camera symbol is missing, i have tried every option that is to find on the forum but nothing works. After all these years isn't there anything that works to get the front camera back to function?
