One of the speakers - the 'loudspeaker', as the support app calls it - is blown. Simply makes an irritating buzzing noise to accompany anything above its near minimum volume output. Meanwhile the 'ear speaker' is apparently okay.
Any means of completely disabling said broken speaker without opening the device? If I have to do that then sure but I haven't really got the time to replace the speaker as of now and I'd rather be able to hear something at low volume that's legible than something irritating.
More or less a temporary fix. My phone is an E6653 running 7.1.1 (latest version available according to some checks).
