can water go inside from one flap and come out from the other one

Hi,

I had a water ingress problem with my xperia Z.

The service center is refusing the Replacement just because all water indicators under the flaps are RED.

Now i have only one question

can water go inside from one flap and come out from the other one ?

Hoping the reply from Sony engineers.

The water seals prevent water from getting into the phone, however once water is in the phone it can most certainly reach other areas. The more water it is exposed to the more likely that other liquid damage indicators will be set off.
