Hello everyone. I am using the XZ2 Premium since more than a year and it is flawless performance wise with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 845. I am currently still on Android 9 though, coz in my region (United Arab Emirates) Sony has winded up its smart phone business. I don't get the update OTA, neither anything shows up on Xperia Companion, it just shows that you have the latest OS. My only option now to get Android 10 is by rooting/flashing.
Which brings me to the main questions I wanna ask you users out there...Is the upgrade from Android 9 to Android 10 on the XZ2 really worth it? I read some reviews and YouTube stuff says that the upgrade is just rubbish and brings nothing new to the table that is worthwhile. what do you guys feel? I have personal stuff on my phone including banking apps, should I take the risk of rooting to get the update, and then end up having nothing really worthwhile in the end, coz XZ2 Premium with Android 9 is pretty damn good so far.
