Today I found another issue with my XA device and that was: while trying to record the sea wave sounds and the seagulls, I've noticed that even the recording was set in stereo and high quality mode, the sounds were all very muffled. I've tried Sony Audio Recording application and others like it, but nothing worked to improve the sound quality. It seems that XA sound recording sistem has a preactivated noise suppresion function that prevents far away/silent sounds from being recorded at high quality. This seem a software issue. Please upgrade it! Please Sony make XA sound recorder to be able to record high quality nature sounds too!
