Q1: why is there a circle in the middle of the screen when I change some channels, a bit like when Youtube buffers? 

Q2: bit more annoying this one. On my previous TV I had a HDMI running from my Sony UBPX700 4K player to my Sony HTX 8500 soundbar, and the soundbar via HMDI to the arc socket on the TV, and everything worked fine. I've now made the same connections to the new TV only to find I get a picture from the 4K player but no sound, despite connecting it up as the instruction manuals have told me to when using arc to arc ports. (The sound when watching TV plays through the soundbar fine by the way).

And my grumble is about how disappointed I am with the TV. Having had several Sony sets over the years, I've never had one that seems so convoluted and unnecessarily a pain to set up. Biggest gripe though is the loss of auto-screen ratio changing when watching digital TV. Although it works fine on the HD channels it does nothing on the SD ones, something that was always fine on my last model that was only 2 years old. Technology, eh!
