WH-1000XM2 Microphone in the headphone cable

Hi, 

Does the unit has a Microphone in the headphone cable?

Any plans of adding that even as a add-on, the microphone in the cable would be quite useful in the office environment making calls.

could you pls recommend a replacement cable for my headphones they are the WH-1000XM2

the only ones curry’s recommended didn’t transmit any sound at all,

thanks in advance 

these are the originals but they only play now out of one side unless I press and hold the cable end in.
