I am not able to pair Sony WH-1000XM3 wireless headphones with MacOS Mojave 10.14.4
I works fine with my iphone and Samsung Galaxy. I have the latest firmware 4.1.1.
Is anybody else is facing the issue as well?
Try turning them Off, then follow the Mac pairing steps provided by Sony here: https://helpguide.sony.net/mdr/wh1000xm3/v1/en/contents/TP0001867144.html
I was holding the button while they were On before and they just turn Off, so I tried it the other way and it worked.
I too have this problem with brand new Sony WH1000MX3. The phones only paired with my iPhone, nothing would persuade them to pair with my iMac or my Samsung QLED tv. A more serious problem was that they constantly paused every few seconds then sounded a tone when paired with iTunes on my iPhone when in my pocket, they would start to play again, then pause and so on. If the iPhone was on a table they would play correctly. I contacted Richer Sounds who are sending me another pair and collecting the faulty ones. Reading that this is a common problem I wonder if the replacements will have the same problem. Surely this a faulty software issue. Has anybody got a solution. Had I known about this issue I would have bought a more reliable brand. I have nothing but praise for Richer Sounds can't say the same about Sony.
I wonder if you got to try the headphones with another phone just in case? Anyway, I hope the new pair sorts it out
Thanks. This is the only solution that worked for me on Big Sur 11.6
