NWZ-S639F battery query

Hi. Newbie here. Does anyone know where i can get a genuine battery for a Sony NWZ-S639F mp3 player? All the copies i have used are just a tad too thick making it impossible to secure the back on properly...

@vigeon, that should be by sending it to Sony's service centre. Where are you based? UK?

Am in UK. I think i discounted sending it to Sony possibly due to cost or age of the device. It's a 2008 Mp3. Sony directed me to a company called EET but they are not responding.

Yes, EET were the best people to try as they are the official retailer for Sony parts.

I've just tried to contact them too though without any luck.

After being told that someone would find out if they had any proper fitting batteries ive heard nothing for many weeks. Given up with them. Currently investigating https://www.lipolbattery.com/Ultra-Thin-LiPo-Battery.html while using an ill fitting Cameron Sino battery.

Yea that really is annoying, hopefully you hear from them regarding the battery soon and can actually replace it.
