Are you talking about the hand gestures, or something else? Anyway, they should work like in the manual here.

there are two :

Fast-forward: Swipe forward and hold. (It takes a while until fast-forwarding starts.) Release at the desired playback point

Fast-reverse: Swipe backward and hold. (It takes a while until fast-reversing starts.) Release at the desired playback point

both doesn't work. I did the same way but nothing.

Also, I recommend resetting the headphones maybe it's a glitch, then try again:
