I have a Vaio SVE1513A4E and am running Win 8.1 and Vaio Care 8.4.0.14286 - Vaio Update offers three updates: Rescue Data(x64) Update Program, Vaio Care 8.4.4.09186 and PlayMemories Home Updater. The version of Vaio Care I am running is, according to the Sony support site, the latest available for my model when running Win 8.1 so what is 8.4.4.09186? I have logged a support ticket but have not had an answer other than 'go back to factory settings'. Also the Rescue Data Update Program will not install through Vaio Care and will not instal manually (EP0000319029.exe) failing with 'not enough free space in the recovery area' - Any help appreciated.
