Help....I can't use the search facility on YouTube as I can't input text from my remote control. I'm sure it's an easy fix, probably just a setting but it's doing my head in!!! It has worked historically and my software is up to date. Thanks in advance!

Hi there
Im not too clear on what your doing or not doing, to not be able to input text, but ill just explain how I do it.
- Go into YouTube
- Go up twice to "Search" and press [OK]
- Press [OK] again when "New Search" is displayed
- Press [OK] again when the blank input box appears stating "Search for:"
- The on-screen keyboard then appears - simply use your remote to highlight each letter, pressing [OK]
- Once done, highlight "Enter" on the on-screen keyboard and press [OK]
- Press [OK] again, as the "Search" button should now be highlighted
Hope that helps

Hi and thanks for response. Now you have put up the steps I can be specific. I had forgotten that a keyboard should come up on screen. The keyboard doesn't pop up. It's obviously something simple I'm overlooking.

Sorted! I refreshed content but it didn't appear to have any effect. I noticed an edit function by pressing the centre button on remote and....hey presto....it's working.
Many thanks for your efforts which are very much appreciated....take the weekend off.
