Amazon Prime issues on TV KD-55XE7073 software update v8.764
When I connect to Amazon Prime and select a movie to watch the screen goes black and the TV does not then respond to any buttons pressed on the remote except the power button to switch off.

My issue was solved by switching off the TV at the socket on the wall i.e. disconnecting the power completely (Just powering off using the remote did not work).
After switching the TV back on all the Apps then worked correctly - It seems as though the latest software update hadn’t completed until I re-started the TV.
However overnight the issue re-appeared and I was unable to watch Amazon Prime but again the issue was fixed by switching off the TV at the wall.
I’m wondering if the software is updating overnight and it’s causing the issue.
