Question/Message to the Moderators - How can we stop people spamming our forum with TV/Movie promotions?

These tv/movie promotions are not needed in this forum

Yes that is right. Only thing at the moment is we  monitor if some other spam arrives and report the abuse

yes there is, on the top Right side of the thread you should be able to see

Yep. I did not notice it also. Will certainly look out for it the next time spam manages to arrive.

One think that its quite annoying is that when you report a thread it reappears on the main page twice, the first time when it was posted and the second time bc it was reported. My suggestion if a thread is reported it should be removed from the main page feed

Agree. May be harder to implement than it looks as the software running on the servers to support the online forum may need to be recoded to take into the changes that we want

Hi Everyone,

We've just implemented the following change to moderation:

From now on, clicking the abuse button should immediately hide that post (and place it in our moderation queue to be handled).
