my xperia X10 wont start up, what do i do?

My xperia X10 refuses to boot! I notices it rebooting yesterday on it own, but it frooze at the point where sony erriccson shows before the purple wave. I removed the battery and tried starting and have had no luck since then.. all I get is the initial customary vibrating just before coming on... but it stops there.

pls what do I do?

Try pressing the centre button (HOME) together with the ON/OFF button.

Thanks.. but this didnt work...

it only flashed a red light from the led indicator...( although the flashing light was some sort of improvement!)

but it still aint coming on.

thanks once again... I hjave downloaded and installed the SE updater service.. but all I get on commecting the USB is a continuous flashing red light....

i am suspecting my battery might be faulty? is that a possibility?

It looks like the battery has died but you should be able to check that by going to a store and getting them to check it or try a new one

Thanks a lot... I had to change the battery.. it was totally dead.. but also I had to also use the update tool... lost all my information but luckily I had a back up on my SD card!

my phone is Alive now!!!!
