Hi
Hopefully someone can help diagnose my problem.
Yesterday my phone stopped charging
I have checked the lead on someone elses phone and that is working ok.
I have 2 batteries and the same problem happens with both so I am pretty certain it is not fauly batteries.
Both batteries are now drainined.
I suspect the problem may be a fault with the connection where the charging lead goes into the phone.
Has anyone else experienced this problem and was this the cause or could it be something else?
If it is a faulty connection what would be the best ie cheapest way to get it fixed. The phone is out of warranty
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks

how about trying a different micro USB cable? did you checked if it works if you connect it directly to the computer?
Yes tried 2, my one at home which goes straight to the mains plug and and one at work that just connects to my PC
does your computer recognize your phone if you try to mount the SD card?
No, used to get a screen pop up asking if I wanted to sync it with the PC but as work computer always just clicked no
That message does not appear now
lets try this
1) backup everything on your phone
2) install Update Service on your PC
3) connect your phone when the computer ask you to on flashmode
lets see if that does recognize your phone if it doesn't you will have to contact SonyEricsson
