After updating to 2.3.3 my phone no longer sees the SD card.
When I go to settings > storage, it says the SD card is unavailable.
When I connect my phone to my computer with a USB cable, my phone just says "please insert memory card and reconnect USB cable"
I tried restarting the phone, then I tried restarting it again without the SD card and again with the SD card... Still doesn't see it.
What should I do?

I've got exactly the same problem on my x10i, tried everything i can find on google (i've even completely reformatted the 8gb card that worked fine before the update) and still nothing...
*i've just mailed customer support about it, hopefully they've got a solution

repair it with Update Service, make sure you remove the SIM and SD cards
Just tried it. Doesn't help.
can you test it on another phone and reformat your SD card there?
my card works fine in my nokia 5800, i used it to connect to the pc whilst i formatted it. ive re-installed the update and it made no difference, ive also tried a 1gb card that works fine and it doesnt see that either.
if might be the phone itself you might have to contact SonyEricsson
I don't have another phone to test it on... But when I connect it to my PC with an adapter, the PC sees it just fine and I tried formating it and all and still nothing.
What I did try is check another card on the phone... I didn't have a microSD one so I checked a 64 MB TransFlash and the phone saw it just fine.
Is my card just broken or corrupted or something?
but the cause of the problem seems to be the 2.3.3 android update, because everything worked fine before that
