I can't get past the Google log in screen since upgrading to 2.1

When I try to access Android Market, or Googlemail etc I am prompted to login to my Google account. I key in my details but the phone can't connect to the servers. Have I left something out in wireless settings? The account is definitly live because I can access it via my desk top pc and my tablet but not my phone. Any ideas?

Factory reset your phone.

Goto Setting>Privacy>Factory data reset. This will erase data in your phone memory, you should have a backup of it when you update to Android 2.1.

Check your phone settings

Settings>Wireless & Network>Mobile Networks

Make sure Data Enabled is ticked, if not tick it.

If it is ticked untick it exit out of settings then go back into settings and re-tick it

Also in these settring (same place as Mobile Data tap Access Point Names and make sure your service provider if indicated correctly usually the grey circle

to the right will have a green centre, if not tap that to activate it.
