Can't see pictures when browsing internet

When I am browsing I can never see pictures, I just get a blank square.

I have no idea how to solve this, I'm not very techncially minded.

Can anyone help?

Try this: Main menu--Internet--Options--Advanced--Browsing (tab)--Here make sure that Show pictures and Show animations is ON.

I can't find where you mean, I assumed it would be something like that but can't find the right menu.

If I select internet from the main menu it just connects me to the internet and I can't seem to find any settings options.

Under internet setttings in the connectivity menu I've just got a choice of connect using: and allow local connection.

No, that's not what I meant.What I meant is simply select the phone's Internet browser (this will not connect you to the internet) starting from the Main menu and then from the Options (top left soft button) select Advanced--here from the Browsing tab (tabs can be selected by using the left/right buttons on the multidirectional keypad)--Show Pictures--select--ON.You can still do this if you are already browsing the net, again from the Options button.

You are so patient, thank you.

If I highlight internet on the main menu then choose options, I only get offered 'main menu layout' and 'theme'.

If I press select when internet is highlighted on the main menu I get connected to the internet straight away and then don't get any options at all.

If you can still be bothered to answer I really appreciate it.  This is driving me nuts.

Are you sure that when you are on a web page, you don't have an Options button (top left soft button) ? Which phone do you have?
