Battery Life drains a lot when idle

I left my phone to sleep. i remember it was 49%. when i woke up, i checked the battery. It had depleted to about 41%  !  I only left it sleep for about 7hours and it depleted about 7%. is it normal ?

i already turn off all the things like WiFi, Bluetooth, Internet, and force stop the needless application running,

when i checked the what has consumed the battery it says :

Display 60% for 2h 46m 53s

Cell Standby 17% for 1day 1h 18m 47s

Phone Idle 15% for 22h 32m 0s

Android System 2%

com.sonyericsson.home 3%

there !

thanks for your opinion

this is your first smartphone isn't? Slightly_smiling_Face yes it is normal, in fact only 7% is really good, battery on a smartphone last between 8-12hrs a day

you can improve battery life by

turn off wifi, bluetooth, gps and lower brightness

if you don't use 3G/Internet you can turn off your data

all that will improve your battery life

uhm yes , this is my very first smartphone, and I amazed of how the battery works!

what do you mean by 7 % ?

what i want to ask is : is it normal for the phone idle? it consumes about 1% for about 1hour idle.

is it okay for me to left my phone charged while i was sleeping?

thanks b4

you lost 7% charge over night, so that's not bad. that's what I meant

you can leave your phone charging overnight, once your phone reaches 100% it will stop charging your phone, once it reach 95% or so it will recharge your phone

so that is what u meant. 7% for standby of 7hours even WITHOUT TURNING THE BLUETOOTH/WIFI/MOBILE DATA ON ? just want to be sure that 1 idle hours without doing anything needs 1% of battery
